We respect and aim to protect your privacy.  By entering into ONLINE services, including receiving SMS notification and emails, you agree to the following treams regarding the handling of your information"

  1. We will collect your demographic information through this website, email, EMR, and other digital/online platforms.

  2. We will use your information solely for communicating with you regarding updates, reminders, and promoting our services.

  3. We will protect your information by utilizing secure storage, HIPPA compliant email and EMR services.

  4. We will retain your records (in print or digitally) for the amount of time legally required.

  5. Any SMS messages you receive may incur a charge or fee from your carrier depending on your text/data plan.

  6. We will send messages and reminders on a recurring basis.  You may opt out at any time.

  8. We will not share, sell, or distribute your Protected Health Information (PHI) without your express written consent.

  9. EXCEPTIONS to sharing Protected Health Information (PHI).  Real Therapies & Wellness, PLLC will keep any information exchanged during our counseling sessions confidential, with the following exceptions:

    • You direct us, in writing, to disclose information to someone else​

    • It is determined that you are a danger to yourself or others (including, but not limited to child abuse, elder abuse, and/or abuse of disabled persons),

    • We are ordered by a court to disclose information. (a subpoena is not a court order)

    • If you are a minor (in which case, your parents and/or guardians have access to your clinical records),

    • If you are an adult with a guardian (in which case, your guardian has access to your clinical records).

Complaints:

Althought clients are encouraged to discuss any concerns with us directly, you may file a complaint against our therapists/counselors with any of the organizations which provide our licensure and/or ethical guidelines, including but not limited to:
